Hypnosis And Anger Management

April 5th, 2012 Neil Warner No comments

Anger is best explained as an emotional state that varies in intensity from mild irritation, to intense fury and rage. It is a perfectly natural and productive human emotion; a reaction to a threat that provides strong, frequently aggressive feelings, which allows us to fight back and defend ourselves. As such, in the days of prehistoric man, experiencing anger was critical to survival.

However in more contemporary times, we sometimes feel anger when we are being hurt; our personal space is violated; our desires are being ignored; or, during numerable other eventualities where our expectancies have not been met. In these scenarios we express anger as a method to recover control of the situation and in that sense; it’s a natural state.

The majority of people experience a healthy dose of anger many times during their lives. However anger becomes a difficulty when it is experienced too often, too intensely, or for long periods of time.

Too Frequently – most people respond to hard everyday situations by experiencing comparatively healthy feelings such as stress, disappointment, hurt or even fear; we reserve anger for the truly significant eventualities in life. However for some of us, we tend to react to everyday circumstances by straight away getting angry and it becomes an all too frequent response, influencing our relationships, our careers and the quality of our lives.

Too Strongly – even if most of us get angry, the level of anger is mostly limited to raising the voice and expressing a few choice words. However for many of us we find our anger is far more intense, and when we get wrapped up in it, it leads to pointless levels of aggression and possibly violence.

Too Long – and even if regular people get angry to a intense level, because of venting the anger, they often find it subsides inside a short period of time. However for some of us, once we are into the cycle, it’s difficult to get out of. Even after the circumstances are over, we may stay caught in a loop, poring over disturbed thoughts and images for no productive purpose, leaving us with a lingering sense of anger, victimization, and disappointment that penetrates us and those around us for hours, maybe days.

And when we experience anger that is too frequent, too intense or too long lasting, there are harmful effects on our health – because anger involves the activation of many physical arousal systems, anger causes a real stress on your body. Recent scientific studies have revealed that recurring anger increases health risks to a number of illnesses, including heart disease and raised blood pressure.

For those of us who realize we’re injuring and pushing away the people in our lives, damaging our family, social and work relationships, not to mention our health, there’s a plenitude of self-help material out there on the internet. But does it work? Well that’s something that you’re going to have decide for yourself. But here’s the point, the number one source of anger related issues is the sub or unconscious mind. Anger is not a conscious response – if you can consciously choose to stop getting angry, wouldn’t you simply choose to do so? The truth of the matter is that this would be a little like asking your waking mind to forget how to ride a bike. You couldn’t could you, even if you tried to? And that’s the point, while all these self-help secrets could have some merit, they do not deal with the genuine source of the issue, they do not access the unconscious mind, the reservoir of feelings, thoughts, urges, and memories that sit outside of our conscious awareness and influence all of our behaviours and experiences.

Thru hypnosis , we can get access to the subconscious mind and harness its acute power to reprogram habitual patterns of behaviour, such as responding angrily to everyday situations.

Hypnosis bypasses the conscious mind and creates an alternative state of consciousness in which attention is centered away from the present fact. Rather like day dreaming, attention can then be focused towards particular pictures, thoughts, perceptions, feelings, motives and behaviours which may help change our habitual responses and learned behaviours.

Our body already has natural mechanisms to handle stress and regulate emotions such as anger, but sometimes they need help in operating properly. Hypnosis helps you do that – it enrolls aid from your unconscious mind in making the mandatory long-term changes for you to be free of anger, allowing you to be altogether more relaxed and in control in all those circumstances in which you used to lose control.

Mind Over Matter and Mind Power Defined

March 15th, 2010 Neil Warner No comments

Are you someone who strongly believes in mind power? Because I do and I believe that with proper usage of mind power we can be successful.

Know what you want and pursue them. Be optimistic and know how to set goals. Sooner or later you will be surprised that you are almost there because you have worked hard to reach the top. Set in your subconscious mind that you want something and that ?something? must be a motivation that something must be done.

It would not be nice to argue or fight with them because that is what they believe, and I also have mine. However, I just want to make them realize the ability of mind to help them achieve their dreams and goals in life and motivate them that there is still something that they can do to improve their state in life and that is to use the process of mind over matter. If they only know how to trust their mind and instinct they can get rid of these misfortunes. It would only be a matter of belief, trust, inspiration and support from their loved ones. I know for some that are already contented for simple things that they can have however if they open their minds they can still hold much things as much as they expect, more than of what they are already receiving. First and foremost, you have to be attentive to your needs before putting them into action. Try to base them in a positive category where you believe that there are no impossibilities to achieve them. It is not bad or wrong to dream of something real big because dreams are yet to come true if they only just believe. This basically teaches you that you should not limit your abilities to what your mind can see. If we think deeper, there is still more. That?s how subconscious mind help you become successful. After knowing what you want, focus on that dream and concentrate. Know the needs of that dream and work on that. Do not give up or lose hope if during your first tries there will be imperfections.

Successful entrepreneurs started from scratch, started from nothing but because they use their mind power, look where they are now. Use them as your inspiration and a guide that will lead you to your dream. Believe in yourself that you will be successful like them and be patient enough to wait for your time. Each of us has mind power and all we need is just to have positive attitude. Attitude is defined as the person?s feelings and moods towards things situations and circumstances. If you imply positive attitude, no doubt, you will see yourself shining, happy and contented. There are many people unfortunately let negative attitudes rule them, this is because they lack concentration and motivation. They also have lots of distractions that become a conflict to their dream. Believe me, if you don?t know how to resist temptation and distraction you will never achieve anything. Lastly, there are no secrets behind mind power. This comes natural to every person. Remember that it is all in your mind so dream big and live happily. Great things will be on your way just use the power of your mind.
