Anger is a kind of emotion which a man or a woman experiences which is a reply to a thing that affects him or her, something they doesn’t like. From being tranquil to being violent, you’ll find different ways of how that emotion is manifested.
Anger could have a positive or negative impact which is the reason it is important for men and women to be able to handle anger correctly. Even though some may keep calm while confronting a difficult situation (do realize that it doesn’t mean he or she is not angry) others may burst out, say profanities, or even harm people, in order to release that reaction to tension. People have an alternative way of expressing it.
It could be to our gain if we see the continuum of anger to ensure we can best understand where we are in relation to managing anger. The continuum of anger stages from: being calm to being annoyed, from being irritated to being frustrated and resentful, and from being mad to getting rage.
Resentment and violence are at the conclusion of the continuum. These are generally very destructive behaviours that people cause on themselves as well as on others, whether physical, mental and even both.
As an individual who goes thru the continuum, his or her feelings get more and more strong, and he or she loses the opportunity to think rationally and act reasonably. The inability to manipulate one’s actions could end up in harmful behaviour that has serious repercussions.
