A High School Student Almost Dies From Alcohol Poisoning and Inspires Him to Change His Life

September 30th, 2009 Neil Warner No comments

Jeffrey was a high school ninth grader who usually seemed to be living on the edge. Jeffrey had a risk taking personality and as a rule wanted to do what his older brothers were doing for fun. The key drawback with this was that all three of his brothers were at least 21 years old and were thusly able from a legal vantage point to operate a car or truck and to consume alcohol.

Jeffrey, nevertheless, had a tough time grasping the truth that as a fifteen-year-old person he should not be drinking alcoholic beverages. In fact, nevertheless, Jeffrey generally drank with his friends after school, particularly on the weekends.

One weekend, Jeffrey was invited to drive around with some of his older friends. One of his friends was old enough to purchase alcohol. After purchasing some wine coolers, wine, and beer, Jeffrey and his friends went to a park and drank for roughly three hours.

A Young Man Becomes Unconscious

After drinking around ten wine coolers, Jeffrey started to feel queasy and then threw up. When he lost consciousness on the football field, one of his pals called 911 for immediate medical assistance. It was fortunate that the call for medical assistance was made because when his cronies went to the hospital to see Jeffrey, they learned that Jeffrey had been suffering from alcohol poisoning symptoms. More precisely, Jeffrey had overdosed on alcohol.

When Your Buddies Drink Too Much

Jeffrey had learned that drinking heavily can lead to alcohol poisoning but he never thought that this would ever affect him. After all, some of his friends over and over again boasted that they could drink twenty four or more cans of beer at one sitting without suffering from any serious difficulties.

Armed with this information, Jeffrey was frankly taken aback to discover that he had overdosed on alcohol because he “only” had around ten drinks. When he stated this to the attending healthcare professional at the hospital, on the other hand, the healthcare professional notified Jeffrey that drinking ten glasses of wine over a two or three hour period of time could certainly be substantially more alcohol than can be metabolized by the body. The doctor further emphasized how too much alcohol can cause the brain to shut down a person’s respiratory system and that when this transpires, a person can die.

The First Warning of Hazardous Drinking

This was the first sign to Jeffrey that he was drinking in a perilous way and that there are ramifications for such deeds. The healthcare practitioner told Jeffrey that he was a fortunate individual because he almost perished from an alcohol overdose the previous night.

The physicain also talked to Jeffrey’s parents and suggested that they get alcohol rehabilitation for Jeffrey. His parents were elated that Jeffrey was all right and told the healthcare professional that they would get Jeffrey alcohol rehabilitation.

While conversing with his parents, Jeffrey informed them that there must be a solid reason why he did not perish and that he felt grateful that he was still alive. He also told his parents that the odd part about the entire drinking episode was that he had learned about alcohol poisoning the last six week grading period at school.

When Paying Attention in Class Can Affect Your Life

At the time, what his health teacher, Mr. Franklin, was saying didn’t seem to make a lot of sense to Jeffrey. Now that he almost died, in spite of this, he felt that he should have listened more attentively in class and applied what he had learned to his life.

Jeffrey notified his parents that he couldn’t wait to go back to the classroom and apologize to Mr. Franklin for not showing more attention to a topic that was as noteworthy as learning about alcohol abuse and how to avoid alcohol poisoning.

His parents smiled at Jeffrey and said that they were thrilled with the way he was accepting responsibility for his harmful drinking behavior. All he had to do now was to let this near fatal experience have an effect on his life in a positive manner so that he would be motivated and inspired to never again go through a case of alcohol poisoning.

Is There A Course To Learn Remote Viewing?

September 30th, 2009 Neil Warner No comments

The ability to reach higher levels of vibrations in our thought patterns is what remote viewing is all about. Everyone is born with the ability for psychic awareness and anyone can learn remote viewing. However, for most people the ability is lost or forgotten as they grow up or because it was never perfected and practiced. Often paranormal ability is discouraged as well.

No one is entirely sure how remote viewing works or why, but it is known to work. It is usually considered a paranormal phenomenon like astral travel, lucid dreaming and other psychic abilities. Since it’s not commonly done, the idea of remote viewing seems like a fantasy to many – but with some practice, even a skeptic can make use of this natural psychic ability.

Down through the years remote viewing has been useful in various countries for their government security and safety reasons, however eventually many of the government programs involving the issue were discontinued and declassified and released to the pubic. More importantly, records show that many of the test subjects were everyday people who had no previous knowledge of their inborn talents concerning remote viewing.

What does this mean? This means that you can do it too. With some time and practice, you can learn remote viewing and after a while, you will be able to do it in hardly any time at all. However, you must keep in mind that as with all things, learning how to become apt at remote viewing will take some time and effort.

You will be using your own mental energy for remote viewing, so it is normal to feel tired after a remote viewing session. Remember to start small when you learn remote viewing and work your way up to more ambitious sessions so that you won’t wear yourself out.

Before you begin to learn how to remote view you will need to take the time to learn how to be able to do two other things that will greatly assist you, visualization and meditation are extremely useful. Remote viewing is essentially an out of body experience, a paranormal or psychic experience, and being able to meditate and visualize will help you to be more receptive to it. Learning to do these will help you to relax and help you to learn and perfect your ability to remote view.

In order for you to become really good at remote viewing, you will have to take you time to practice this art form on a regular basis. As we all know, practice does make perfect and this applies to developing our paranormal or psychic gifts and talents as well.

Let us now look more closely at what exactly remote viewing is. It is quite simply, the ability to see a person, place, or thing that is not in the same vicinity we are, by focusing our thoughts and concentrating on that which we are trying to see. However it does not end there. Once you are able to focus your concentration in this way you will actually be able to see the person, place or thing no matter where you may be.

Remember when you are taking a remote view; many times the images that you see may appear to be kind of unfocused or foggy. Stay open minded about any images that you might be able to notice during your sessions of remote viewing.

The more often you practice, the better you will become at understanding what you are seeing. Be sure to keep a record of your remote viewing experiences, as this will help you to learn more about yourself and the types of methods that work best for you. It can also help you to figure out more about your own self and the world you live in when you record your progress in a remote viewing journal.

Once you learn remote viewing, then you’ll have the ability to see any place and even any time you want. Using remote viewing can tune you into the universal mind, which will allow you to visit any place in the universe, whether in the present, the past or even the future.

Be sure to pay close attention to any shapes, colors, textures and patterns that you can see while you learn remote viewing. You may even wish to keep a pad and pencil close by just in case you want to make a few sketches of the images that you view in your sessions.

Fortunately, there are many resources out there which are designed to help people learn remote viewing. You can find books and websites which provide a lot of useful information on remote viewing and also audio recordings which can be helpful – these include self-hypnosis recordings, as well as binaural beats recordings. Binaural beats help attune your mind to the frequency of the universe, which makes it easy to begin remote viewing and using other psychic abilities.

Business Planning for DJ Success

September 29th, 2009 Neil Warner No comments

Working as a DJ and making good money has got to be about the coolest job in the world. There’s nothing better than making a night a succes through mixing the music that you love.

But there is a world of difference between DJing in your bedroom, mixing MP3′s using some DJ software and making money as a working DJ. Like any business you should really start with a good business plan and this means carrying out some thorough research.

You need to research your market to find out first if there is enough demand for what you want to offer. Are you a specialist hip hop or house DJ and, if so, how will you find gigs? What will it cost to produce a professionally presented demo CD, essential for getting those all important gigs? Your business plan will need to identify, realistically, how much you are likely to make and how much it is going to cost you in order to make that money.

A good business plan is really important if you are going to look for financial backing from your bank or private investors. Some of this money will be allocated to equipment costs which are likely to include some top quality, professional DJ headphones, some good quality record cases and maybe a good laptop with the latest DJ software installed. You may even need to invest in wireless microphone system if your style of DJing means you get out into the crowd. In business planning the key is never to leave out any detail.

Most independent DJs operate as self employed business owners. You may like to get some advice from a small business advisor or accountant. You may even consider joining forces with some DJing friends in order to provide a portfolio of DJ services catering for a variety of functions.

Clearly there is much to be considered beyond the playlist for your next gig. Business planning can seem boring and tedious, especially when you’d rather be mixing, but its an essential part of making any business a success. But doing some thorough research and planning your prospective DJ business carefully will hopefully identify everything you need in order to be an immediate success.

Eradicate Depression Therapy and Treatments

September 29th, 2009 Neil Warner No comments

Do you suffer from depression? Have you lost the will to live? Would you like to eradicate your depression once and for all? These are three questions that I would have certainly answered yes to a couple of years ago. I have however managed to turn my life around; the depression has been eradicated once and for all; I am free at last to live my life in the way that I have always wanted to.

Before I continue I would like to make it clear that I am by no way attempting to sell you anything here and that I am not some sort of depression therapist. I am actually involved on a daily basis with helping people to stop stuttering and I also help people to learn to play the guitar. I have a third role which is a very minor one which is working with a group cost reduction consultants.

The cause of my personal depression

I have to say that the main cause of my depression was due to the fact that I had a stutter. This speech impediment basically ruined my life for eighteen years and was something that would often leave me feeling quite sorry for myself.

I feared for my overall future. How would I be able to get on in the world with this frustrating stutter? I was fully aware of just how it would negatively impact on my prospects for employment, relationships with friends and members of the opposite sex and overall confidence/happiness.

The solution

I was very fortunate to meet a very educated man called Jason when I was aged twenty-two. He persuaded me to fight back against all of my demons and gave me the belief that I would be able to overcome the stutter, as well as eradicating the depression.

You need to believe in yourself, you need to understand that there is a lot of people in a worse position than you and you need to be thankful of what you do have rather than solely concentrating on what you do not have, explained Jason.

You should be willing to work extremely hard to improve your life and to beat this depression.

The result

I am pleased to report that after working extremely hard I was able to find a cure for stuttering and was also able to find happiness, the depression and stutter have both been eradicated for once and for all.

When Heavy Drinking Leads to Serious Health Problems and the Hope for Recovery After Obtaining Alcohol Rehabilitation

September 29th, 2009 Neil Warner No comments

For several years alcohol dependency exploration has demonstrated the fact that there is strong association between alcoholism and life-threatening health conditions.

For example, in 2005, medical exploration and alcohol abuse and alcoholism statistics revealed that alcohol abuse and alcoholism cost the United States an estimated $220 billion annually. It can be emphasized that this considerable alcohol-related cost was substantially more than the cost linked with cancer ($196 billion) or with obesity ($133 billion). While it is pertinent to call attention to these facts, it is also noteworthy to emphasize the point that an interrelationship exists between all three of these health issues.

More explicitly, chronic alcohol abuse and alcoholism are also highly associated with obesity and with cancer.

Undeniably, substance abuse examination has revealed that alcoholism can augment the risk for different types of cancer, especially cancer of the esophagus, kidneys, throat, rectum, liver, voice box (larynx), and the colon. Abusive and repetitive drinking can also lead to immune system problems and deformity to the fetus during pregnancy.

Abusive and Hazardous Drinking Weakens the Individual’s Organs and Systems

Furthermore, if alcohol addiction continues over a period of years, the individual’s body organs will probably be affected in an unsafe manner. For example, chronic, excessive drinking is particularly damaging to the liver due to the fact that the liver does most of the work of processing the alcohol that has been consumed. Excessive amounts of alcohol kills liver cells and destroys the ability of liver cells to reproduce. This condition results in a progressive inflammatory injury to the liver that can in the long run lead to cirrhosis of the liver, a serious and possibly lethal medical problem.Abusive, long-term drinking not only can result in dangerous liver damage, but it can also lead to damage to the heart and to the brain. Physical damage this serious may be irreparable and may, in turn, result in serious disease or an untimely death.

The Significance of Alcohol Counseling

It is imperative, consequently, to know how to identify the various alcoholism symptoms and the “alcohol signs” so that the alcohol addicted person can be given the opportunity to seek the quality alcohol rehab he or she requires.

Alcoholism and Sophisticated Brain Research

Fortuitously, scientific investigation is relentlessly discovering novel and important information. Recent alcoholism research provides a first-rate illustration. More exactly, for roughly the last ten years, technologically advanced brain-imaging scanning instruments have verified that continuous and recurring irresponsible drinking modifies the structure of the brain to a great extent, thusly resulting in brain disease that can last months, years, or conceivably as long as the individual exists.

More specifically, medical investigation has shown that individuals who have been drinking excessively for a substantial length of time increase their risk for developing long lasting and serious transformations in the brain.

This type of damage may be indirectly associated with the drinker’s poor overall health or directly related to the alcohol’s effects on the brain or to severe liver disease.

Mental Disorders, Malnutrition, and Excessive Drinking

As a final example of various health problems that are considerably related to alcohol addiction, take into account the fact that according to scientific research, the abusive and repeated abuse of alcohol can result in erosive gastritis, a medical problem that lessens the absorption of minerals, nutrients, and vitamins.

This form of organ failure is related to malnutrition and to a variety of severe mental and neurological maladies including sleep disturbances, memory loss, and psychosis such as Wernicke’s Encephalopathy and Korsakoff’s syndrome. This latter medical condition is a long lasting incapacitating condition that is characterized by recurring learning and memory difficulties.

The Importance of Education and the Hope for Recovery That Comes From Alcohol Rehabilitation

It is apparent that repetitive, hazardous drinking is directly or indirectly associated with a variety of acute medical problems that can and do result in serious ailments and premature death. Such information needs to be emphasized and presented to everyone in our society so that a multitude of individuals will be able to abstain from irresponsible drinking while other people who have a drinking problem develop a positive attitude and get motivated to seek the professional therapy they require. For without professional counseling most people who drink in a hazardous and abusive manner will not begin the healing process and experience the hope for alcohol recovery.

What are some ways to control anger

September 29th, 2009 Neil Warner No comments

Everyone experiences anger.  Everyone at some point loses their control of their anger.  It is natural. What’s not good about it is when they become angry always. That would be the time when you could harm someone close to you.It can hurt someone emotionally and physically.  With that in mind here are some anger management tips for you to use.

Controlling your anger is a tough thing to do.  That is why my anger management counseling practice gets so many people with anger issues. But you can get through it.There are things you can do to control even if it seems like you can do nothing about it.First thing you can do is to admit that you are undergoing stress.Stress can be one cause of anger.By acknowledging the fact that you are stressed you will know what to do when you are getting agitated again.

Another way you can cope with anger is to learn how to respond and not to react.  It is one of the biggest techniques I teach for my family counselor San Diego practice.  What it means is to think about situations rather than instinctively reacting to it.  By being logical and thinking about a situation you are better able to respond. So that your reaction would make the situation better rather than make it worse.

Depression is another cause of anger.Usually, if a person is depressed it will eventually lead to anger. The reason for this is because depressed people feel that they have no hope in life and that they become angry at everything.  I see this all the time doing depression counselor. So you fight this by addressing the situation that is causing depression.

If you follow these few tips it should help you deal with any anger problems.Anger can be hard to control. That is why a lot of people suffer from anger issues. But knowing the root of your problems would greatly help you in recovering your old self.Ans if you can do so you and your loved ones will not be hurt anymore.

Align Your Subconscious For Cosmic Ordering Success

September 27th, 2009 Neil Warner No comments

Everyone wants to improve their situation; we all want some of the good things in life for ourselves. And certainly, we all want to lead a life which is full of the things we want for ourselves and to be more appreciative of what we have. There is more than one way to achieve this goal, but no method is a more direct path than cosmic ordering.

You probably want to know more about cosmic ordering. Cosmic ordering is the spiritual practice in which you are able to claim all that you want from life from the universe. You request, or make an order for something and it is yours. It is true that this is a spiritual practice, but don’t automatically think that you are required to be a saint and do only good things in order to receive the things that you want in life. Being saintly is a nice benefit, but is not required.

Cosmic ordering is all about using the power which the universe to make your goals and drams come to fruition. You can have anything you desire, as long as you ask for it. Whether you want to completely transform your life or just make some changes to get you on the right path towards attaining your objectives, cosmic ordering can make it happen.

Noted spiritual gurus like Dr. Wayne Dyer and Dr. Deepak Chopra reveal that you need to enter a particular energy field known as the “field of intent” to manifest your desires. This is nothing but a kind of a frequency where we form a spiritual connection with the universe and that’s when our desires are physically manifested by the cosmos.

You have likely done this before without even being aware of it. Likely, you can remember a time when you really needed something or wanted something very badly and by an amazing coincidence, you got what you desired. This was cosmic ordering, not a mere coincidence.

Intention is nothing but when our desires combine with the power of our faith. Cosmic ordering is all about the intention and its power. If your intention is powerful enough and you truly believe that you deserve what you want, then you are sure to get it. The key here is that you need to have an intense desire for what you want and have faith deep down that you deserve it.

If you just say ‘I really want that promotion’ but do not genuinely believe that you deserve it, you should not be surprised when it doesn’t work out for you. You need both desire and belief that you are deserving of that promotion in order to get what you want for yourself.

Cosmic ordering can be the easiest way of getting the things that you want out of life. But is there a downside to cosmic ordering? The answer is yes. If you wish for negative things and truly believe that they will happen, then cosmic ordering will make it so.

If you go around thinking that you’re going to be fired and deep down believe that you deserve to be then more likely than not this will really happen. You need to eliminate negative thoughts from your mind and to focus on the positive instead.

So many people have lived their lives in unhappy circumstances and see themselves as being unworthy. These people find manifesting what they want to be impossible.

If you really want to make the most of cosmic ordering, than you have to be open to the good things which can come to you and to be ready to accept a change for the better.

Communication with the subconscious mind can be accomplished by self hypnosis, meditation and simple affirmations. It’s not tough at all!

Cosmic ordering has made positive transformations in the lives of many – why not you? You too can use cosmic ordering and start living the life you want.

The Logical Way To Lose Weight

September 27th, 2009 Neil Warner No comments

Would you like to find out about weight loss programs that work? Have you tried a number of different diets in the past but still find yourself being overweight? Are you fed up with being fat? Do you yearn the day when you can buy the type of clothes that you really want? I am, of course, not sure as to how you will have answered these questions however if you have answered one or more of them in a positive then this article may well prove to be of benefit to you.

I am somebody who until a few years ago would have answered yes to all of the above questions. I had tried many forms of diet, I would buy clothes that suited my size rather than the clothes I actually wanted to wear. I was without doubt fed up with being fat and was desperate to find a way of losing weight which would last.

I am by no means involved with weight loss in my career; I do in fact work with the cost reduction, stuttering and fostering services UK sectors.

In my opinion the answer to all of weight problems was quite simple. I do not need any fancy diet, what I needed to do was to think in a logical way. I first of all had to ask myself a number of questions:

Question. Why are you overweight?

Answer: I eat far too much food and drink far too much alcohol. The food that I do eat is basically fat food such as crisps, chocolate, takeaways and microwave food. I also do very little exercise, therefore I do not give my body a chance to burn off some of this fat. I tend to rarely walk anywhere, I prefer to drive.

Question. Why have you been unsuccessful with your past dieting attempts?

Answer: I did not really follow the program. I may have done for the short term but certainly did not over the longer term. I must admit that I also failed to these nasty demon voices that tempted me into the types of foods that I am well aware that I shouldn’t.

Question. How much do you want to lose this excess weight?

Answer. A huge amount.

Question. So why do you not follow the dieting programs to the letter?

Answer. I am weak, I suppose.

As you can see, the answers to my weight issues are in the answers to these questions. Quite simply I need to:

Be more disciplined

Be more determined

Be stronger

Walk and exercise a lot more

Eat in a much more healthy way

Cut down my intake of alcohol

Stick to the above for the long term

A couple of years ago I started to implement my new logical form of diet and I am happy to report that I am now at a size that I am happy with.

A Television Program About Alcoholic Signs Leads to Some Tense and Dismal Emotions About a Young Female’s Hazardous and Excessive Drinking and Then A Sense of Hopefulness

September 26th, 2009 Neil Warner No comments

Daniel had been engaging in hazardous drinking behavior since her sophomore year in college. Now, seven years later, she drank more than ever. One Saturday evening when she wasn’t feeling too well, Daniel decided to stay home, relax, and watch television.

While searching for a special program to watch that she would find a little out of the ordinary, she at once got interested in a special program about teenage and young adult drinking issues.

When Widespread Alcohol Dependency Symptoms and Signs are Displayed by Alcohol Dependent People

The narrator discussed the difference between alcohol dependency and alcohol abuse and then got into the subject of alcoholism symptoms and alcoholism warning signs. When the commenter discussed a person’s alcoholic behavior and some of the more normal alcoholism symptoms and signs that alcohol dependent individuals reveal, Daniel got quite concerned because it basically seemed as if the spokesperson was talking explicitly to her.

After watching the TV documentary, Daniel promised herself that she would telephone her health care professional the next business day and make an appointment to discuss her drinking behavior.

When the following morning arrived, true to her word, Daniel called her health care professional and made an appointment. In the meantime, she went online and did a search for alcoholic symptoms. Especially noteworthy were the following symptoms or signs: sneaking extra drinks before social events, sleep problems, serious employment and relationship problems, making excuses to drink at almost every opportunity, and increasing irritability.

Simply stated, due to the fact that Daniel exhibited all of these symptoms she went into greater detail in her Internet search and found quite a lot of websites and blogs that featured diverse alcoholic symptoms and warning signs.

One of the symptoms that really grabbed her interest was the following: “Do you often drink after stating to yourself that you won’t?” While Daniel never figured out that she may have a severe drinking issue, after reading about the diverse alcohol dependency warning signs and symptoms, she couldn’t deny the fact that for the past seven or eight months, she over and over again tried but was not successful at significantly diminishing her drinking or totally stopping.

When Friends and Individuals Pester You by Denouncing Your Abusive Drinking Behavior

Another alcohol addiction sign that grabbed her awareness was the following: “Have people at work annoyed you by disapproving of your drinking behavior?” When Daniel read this she at once thought about a recent quarrel she had with her closest friend about her hazardous drinking behavior. In addition, Daniel noticeably called to mind a recent disagreement she had with her parents about her abusive drinking. Since Daniel sincerely believed that she didn’t have a drinking problem, when family members pointed out her drinking she naturally got perturbed and irritated.

A third alcohol dependency symptom was the following: “Do you crave a drink when you first awaken in the morning?” Until now, Daniel had been dishonest with herself about her drinking. After reading about the aforementioned alcoholism warning symptoms, however, she knew if she was really frank with herself that she was facing a serious drinking problem, especially given the fact that she now believed that she needed a drink the first thing when she got up to diminish her tension.

Not only this but the next alcohol dependency symptom really got her thinking about her drinking: “Do you drink to keep away from problems or worries?” When she reflected on her life for a few moments, she understood that just about in every challenging situation in the past few months, she told herself that she needed a drink to help manage the stressful situations in her life.

The final alcohol addiction warning sign that made her feel slightly uneasy about her drinking behavior was the following: “Has your enthusiasm for life shrunk since you started drinking on a more regular basis?” When Daniel read this sign she plainly realized that drinking had become a severe problem in her life because of her diminished energy level and also because she quit pursuing her goals and her passions.

Summary: When Getting Morose Turns Into Something Electrifying and A Sense of Expectation

After reflecting on all of these damaging alcohol addiction symptoms and signs, Daniel at first felt glum. Then something remarkable happened. She realized that she was going to see her health care professional about her problem drinking and she also realized that she would talk about all of the above alcoholic warning signs and symptoms with her. In truth, for the first time in more than a few months, Daniel frankly felt a sense of hope because she was dealing with her drinking problems and was after all has been said and done ready to make the necessary changes so that she could regain the life that was slipping away.

A Young Lady Honestly Tries to Stop Drinking, Suffers From Alcohol Withdrawal Symptoms, Finds Out That She is an Alcohol Dependent Person, and Comes to a Decision to Get Alcohol Rehab

September 25th, 2009 Neil Warner No comments

Jennifer is a twenty-five-year-old benefits manager who has been drinking quite abusively since her live-in boyfriend and she broke off their relationship. In actual fact, for the past nine months she has been drinking nearly two bottles of wine every night, and on the weekends she also has been drinking a number mixed drinks all through the day. In short, Jennifer has been drinking so hazardously and abusively that it’s amazing that she hasn’t suffered from alcohol poisoning.

After feeling down in the dumps because she was starting to ignore her health, Jennifer at long last told herself that she’s had enough, that it’s time to stop the self pity party, that it’s time to stop the irresponsible and excessive drinking, and time to make a new start with her life. So the next Saturday morning at 9:00 AM, she determined that she would quit drinking suddenly and completely without planning or preparation.

When She Attempted to Stop Drinking She Felt Horrific, She Started to Perspire Profusely, Her Head Was Throbbing, She Had Absolutely No Appetite, She Was Extremely Anxious and Moody, and She Vomited Several Times

When Jennifer stopped drinking, she assumed that she would more likely than not be tempted to have a couple of drinks, but she never inferred that she would feel so awful. More to the point, approximately three hours after she stopped drinking, she had utterly no appetite, she was extremely restless and moody, she started to perspire profusely, she vomited numerous times, and her head was pounding.

When she called her best friend and informed her that she had quit drinking and that after a few hours she all of a sudden began having flu-like symptoms, Joan, her best friend, told Jennifer to call her medical practitioner and explain in a clear manner what she was going through.

She Admits to Her Healthcare Practitioner That She Has Been Drinking In an Irresponsible and Excessive Manner, That She Just Tried to Stop Drinking, and That She is Experiencing Terrible Flu-Like Symptoms

So Jennifer called her physician, told him that she has been drinking in a hazardous manner for a number of months and that when she honestly tried to totally quit drinking earlier in the day, within a few hours she felt as if she had the most horrible flu-like symptoms that she had ever experienced.

Her doctor told her that she may be experiencing symptoms of alcohol withdrawal and that she should have a neighbor or friend drive her to the emergency room as soon as humanly possible.

As soon as Jennifer got off the phone, she got a friend to take her to the hospital. Interestingly, all the way to the hospital, as sick as Jennifer felt, the only thing she could think about was whether or not she might be alcohol dependent.

Obviously her healthcare professional had called ahead and informed the emergency room staff to expect Jennifer because when she got to the hospital, she was met by two emergency room employees who immediately asked her to lie down on the portable bed they had with them. After getting moved to the emergency room and undergoing a couple of important tests, it was corroborated that Jennifer was in truth suffering from alcohol withdrawal symptoms and was in need of alcohol detoxification.

A medical practitioner administered some medications to reduce the intensity of her flu-like symptoms and also administered some medications to help get rid of the alcohol that was still in her system.

A Chemical Dependency and Substance Abuse Medical Practitioner Discusses That She is Dependent on Alcohol and Then Goes Over What Alcohol Withdrawal Symptoms and Alcoholism Stages Are

After an hour or two, Jennifer was taken from the ER and transported to the recovery room. After she was in recovery for around an hour-and-a-half, Doctor Warner, a chemical dependency and substance abuse specialist, came to visit her. He took plenty of time and explained in plain words that Jennifer had gone through alcohol withdrawal symptoms when she quit drinking because she had become dependent on alcohol.

He then explained that with continuous and heavy drinking, the drinker’s brain in a step-by-step fashion gets acclimated to the alcohol in order to execute tasks and operations in a “normal” fashion. When the drinker then suddenly stops consuming alcohol, understandably, the brain reacts by generating alcohol withdrawal symptoms. In addition, her medical practitioner also explained in a clear fashion the different alcoholism stages that an alcohol addicted individual commonly experiences as the disease gets progressively worse.

It is Established that Jennifer is in the First Stage of Alcoholism and She Receives a Favorable Forecast For a Full Recovery if She Gets the Alcohol Addiction Rehab She Requires

Fortunately for Jennifer, it was confirmed that she was in the first stage of alcohol dependency and, as a consequence, she was given a good forecast for a total recovery if she will get the alcoholism rehabilitation she requires.

Jennifer told the doctor that she will do whatever it takes to get sober and to get back her life and her health. She also stated that she has a first-rate hospitalization insurance plan that will more likely than not pay for most of the costs needed for rehabilitation. It was clear to see that Jennifer was extremely thankful about her positive prognosis and felt at peace knowing that she will be able to get the alcoholism rehab she needs so that she can begin the path to recovery.
