How to be Extra Beautiful and Good

August 31st, 2009 Neil Warner No comments

I used to have an insecurity in all that I see. But now thru the use of this ab rocket ab machine and situp equipment, I am already having all the confidence in the world. Now please do not mistake me by thinking that I was never confident before using this equipment. I was building up my confidence each and every day by confirming to myself that I was good, regardless of how I looked. But the minute I started working out and making changes with my health, was when my confidence leaped unto the next level. Low self esteem was no longer a problem for me.

I am happy because it gave me so much of great feeling especially if I can see the people I love without feeling shame. It is my partner who made me that whole. This is my boyfriend, I used to tease him because he is too thin, yet he is now using the sit up equipment I once used. It is giving him what he needs, and that is abs. They support me.

Now that we both know everything, we are allowed to get married. It is true that he is my manager because he observed and is still observing my decisions and telling me if that is right or wrong.

Marrying each other is my job and I can make it with this situation. We are beautiful that is why I am happy. That is why, as a form of gift, I decided to lose weight also. I am happy because he is also happy about the result of my sacrifices.

I am happy that I am here. I am happy now that I am starting to tell you my life story. And I hope my story helps many other people get rid of low self esteem so that they can have the confidence to do anything their heart desires. Remember, you can do anything in life that you set your heart and mind to do.

The Power of the Subconscious Mind

August 29th, 2009 Neil Warner No comments

One of the best movies that sends a message about the power behind your subconscious mind power has to be the Field of Dreams. You remember, it’s the story that revolves around the voice that says, ‘If you build it they will come.’ What if you asked yourself what will come? Well, actually it anything your heart (and mind) desires.

In the beginning it was difficult to follow this path, but by the end of the movie people were coming from all corners of the country to see these instant phenomenons. This is basically how your inner mind works and even though you may not know what is coming next, if you believe it will be good then it will be. What it comes down to is if you can use the power that comes from the subconscious mind power, you’ll be able to control your own destiny.

If you’re skeptical, you’re not alone. However, give me a chance to show you with a few examples just how powerful your subconscious mind power is. One of my favorite examples is actually from the medical field, and works on a scientific basis. It’s been documented time and time again, actually, and it’s called the ‘placebo effect.’ The medical field has coined the term ‘placebo effect’ to denote a specific type of effect. Oftentimes, for example, this term is used during medical trials. The control group is given a ‘placebo,’ which is an inert substance that has no medical benefit whatsoever as a drug might give. It’s used as a counterpoint to the other group, which gets the actual medication. This is to clearly prove any benefit (or detriment) the drug itself might give. However, both groups are told what the medication is for and what it should do for them, and neither group knows which pill they’ve gotten; placebo or actual medication.

Testing things this way allows the observers to understand the intensity of the real drug, and the benefits from thinking you’re taking a cure. It’s kind of like in the old days when people were given peppermint pills thinking they were real medicine. Oddly enough they ended up getting better, which is why the power of the subconscious mind can be unbelievable.

It’s one of the biggest reasons why your family physician won’t tell you about the side effects that revolve around the medication you are prescribed. They don’t want you to start taking it and then end up with several issues. So when they write it up, the only thing you usually here is the positive effects of the drug.

So as you can see, the subconscious mind is incredibly powerful, and can produce powerful results, through both the power of the subconscious mind and the power of suggestion. And as it works in medicine, so, too, can it work in your life to create positive change. What’s preventing you from tapping into this most amazing power? You may want to use the power of suggestion to change the way your subconscious mind ‘talks to you.’

Or, you may want to use visualization to alter the way you see things. Visualization is a simple technique that really, truly works. You can do this a couple of ways. Try this; close your eyes and visualize what you want. See it as though you’re looking at it from your perspective, with it right in front of you.

We recommend trying the physical picture. A great way to do this is by cutting out a picture of what you want in life. It may be a new car, money, or even your dream home. Then start looking at it everyday. Maybe you place one picture at work, one at home, and one in the car. In doing this you will allow the subconscious mind to take shape and understand what you want next. In time you will be able to make your vision a reality.

The power of the subconscious mind is not newly discovered; many people have known about it for years, in fact, and use it to their advantage. However, until recently, it’s been a nebulous rather than scientifically proven fact. That’s changed with scientists’ discovery of the scientific process associated with the power of the subconscious mind.

Quantum physics has opened the door to ‘seeing’ and observing this world at its essence. Subatomically, all matter is energy, and is not solid. And, quantum physics has also shown that this energy can be manipulated through thought. In fact, it has actually shown that energy cannot exist at all without being observed by someone.

Another portion of the explanation also concludes that it’s your mind that creates the energy in the first place and the reality of how it is used throughout the day. This means that your subconscious mind power is the creation of everything.

Remember how we were talking about the past and how others used it for many years. The most predominant area was amongst ancient religions. They were able to bring clarity to life and at times even accumulate supernatural powers. After being seen levitating off the ground and performing invisibility tactics, it was a true testament to what the future would hold. Somewhere along the lines we lost touch with this innovation, but thankfully it’s back in full swing.

What it comes down to is figuring out whether or not it’s for you. If you could change your life by thinking about it, wouldn’t you at least try it? Just try it out for the next week by simply using the affirmations process. When you’ve implanted this into your daily routine, move on to the visualization techniques we discussed earlier. The end result is you’ll be training and developing the subconscious mind the way it was supposed to be used.

5 Top Reasons to Become a DJ

August 29th, 2009 Neil Warner No comments

Are you stuck in a rut, wondering what to do with your life? Maybe you are one of the rapidly increasing number of desperate, unemployed young people who have no hope of finding a proper job. Now could be the time for you to consider a career as a DJ.

Pop along to your local pawn shop and lay your hands on some DJ equipment, or blag some from a friend, and polish your mixing skills. You could soon be banking some serious wonga by spinning a few dance records or mixing a bunch of MP3s. Here are just five good reasons to learn to DJ:

  1. You’ll be making some big bucks. UK DJ Paul Oakenfold is reputed to earn upwards of $7.5 million dollars a year and lots of DJs charge as much as $50,000 for one gig. Not bad for playing other peoples music.
  2. You don’t need to know anything about music. You might be hot with ‘guitar hero’ but learning to play real guitars or maybe a set of drums is actually hard work. So go out and get yourself some DJ equipment and learn to mix and you will soon be pulling in some serious cash and having loads of fun doing it.
  3. DJs are just so sexy. It doesn’t matter if you are a boy who likes girls, a girl who likes boys, a boy who likes boys or a girl who likes girls. DJing is a sexy profession and you will get laid all the time, guaranteed.
  4. Get some VIP treatment. You don’t have to be a superstar DJ to enjoy some of the VIP treatment. Once you start playing out you’ll be able to blag your way onto all the best guest lists in town and skip to the front of the queue.
  5. Get loads of freebies. Clothes, DJ-Gear and even villa holidays in Ibiza will be yours for the taking. Businesses will be keen to get you to use their products and services.

All you need to do now is create an impressive mix CD and get yourself some club bookings. Wishing you luck in your new career!

5 Easy Ways To Be Positive

August 28th, 2009 Neil Warner No comments

Remaining positive throughout the day is an important component of your personal growth. Often, though, the day may get the best of us and we may find it difficult to be optimistic about our personal growth. Here are 5 ways to counter negativity and pessimism and instead, introduce a little optimism and positivity in your life!

1. Watch your physique
Keep your back straight when you sit and stand, walk fast, confidently and take big steps. Whether you feel optimistic and positive or not does not matter – fake it, and you will make it. Walking with a slouch and small steps reinforces negativity, a lack of confidence and pessimism. So, if you have to, fake it until you make it. Instead of changing your mind to change your physique, start changing your physique for an instant lift!

2.  Change the way you speak
Much like our physique, the way we speak tends to affect our mood. Not necessarily just the other way around. When you act happy, you feel happy, and as such, more positive. So induce cheerfulness by speaking in an upbeat voice. But it’s not just the voice that you need to inject cheeriness into — it’s the speech vocabulary you choose to use as well! Be aware of the words you use and consciously select upbeat, positive ones instead of more upsetting and pessimistic words. For example, problem vs. opportunity. Once you change your speech vocabulary, you may realize that it’s easier for your brain to create instant positive associations.

3. Focus on solutions.
Everyone has problems. But what differentiates positive individuals from negative ones is their focus. People with positive attitudes focus on the solution instead of the problem. Contrary to popular belief, our brains were not made for complicated multitasking. Choosing to focus solely on solutions forces our the problems, whining and groaning. In addition, working to fix something automatically helps us feel better about ourselves and helplessness induces feelings of pessimism and negativity. So start focusing on the possible solutions and keep thoughts of your pressing problems at bay.

4. Look for inspiration
Whether it’s from a picture, a song, a quote or a person – try to start your day with it. If it’s a picture, set it as the desktop background of your work station or print it and pin it to the wall in front of you. If it’s a song, listen to it first thing in the morning, on your drive to work or at the office when you feel a little down. Inspiration can be found in every corner and via many mediums – it’s just up to us to go searching for it.

5. Be grateful
Make the daily expression of gratitude a habit. Whether it’s gratitude for something small like a great dinner, good friends, or something bigger like a pay rise – express it. Make it a daily habit and watch as your perception of your seemingly monotonous life turns positive. When you focus on the positives of the day, you automatically start filtering through negativity and pessimism, opening your eyes to the beautiful, happy occurrences that happen throughout your day.

Positivity is an important companion ofpersonal growth. I hope these 5 ways will help you overcome negativity and pessimism and aid in your journey of becoming a more positive individual.

Remote Working Part 2 – Self discipline essentials

August 28th, 2009 Neil Warner No comments

Quickbooks online

The top reason individuals fail to succeed at working remotely is they don’t recognise the criticality of having good organisation and rigid self discipline.

I have been working remotely for nearly 8 yrs since I first uncovered Quickbooks online an ‘on demand’ small business accounting software service and was energised by the fact that if you can perform accounting online then why shouldn’t it be feasible to perform other key types of of work at a distance?

Whilst working remotely has its obvious perks there are numerous things that workers don’t realise which lead to issues that cause decreased productivity and lower motivation. The major reason for decreases in effectiveness in remote employees is disruption and it is a proven and well publicised fact that it can take a worker up to 20 mins to return to their original efficiency level after experiencing a disturbance.

Research also shows that persons who are regularly experience disturbances are more likely to suffer from decreased memory capacity and are prone to developing mental health trouble in later life. We exist in an over communicated world and it is essential that you are aware of the issues this causes before you decide to work remotely. Whilst operating remotely you must do everything feasible to remove the jeopardy of being distracted.

Here are the essentials:

1, Get a habit, tell everyone about it and obsessively maintain it!

Good examples are a specific time of day when you look at or write and send mail and make or will accept telephone calls. Before I began working remotely I used to get nearly hundreds of e-mails in 24 hours. Now I think I am unfortunate if I receive over 4. To ’reset’ my electronic mail experience I modified my e-mail address and vigorously took steps to look after the details being made known to anyone. I then educated every party who I gave my e-mail address to, to use it prudently. I also set up an automatic response that swiftly told anyone sending me mail my schedule for attending to mail and if an e-mail required my urgent attention to mark it as ‘Urgent’.

2. Get rid of alerts.

Turn off absolutely everything that can send you a interruption. This includes cell and
ordinary handsets and forms of alerts from electronic mail such as display events, audible warnings, display changes to your inbox folder and of course facing a window. Get a door on your office and put up a ‘do not disturb’ sign on it.

In ‘Remote Working Part 3 – The ‘kit’ list’ I will reveal my favourite tools and software.

Men Suffering From Eating Disorders

August 27th, 2009 Neil Warner No comments

Eating disorders are known among the female population but from recently, the male population has also began to getting in to the trouble of eating disorder. A recent study confirmed that male eating disorders may be on the rise in athletes who increasingly strive to preserve flawless body weight and shape to assist them in their performance.

Maybe it is prejudice that has got us to point fingers at women all the time when it comes to eating disorders. After all, it is a woman’s body that is centre of attention at all times in comparison to men. So with the latest statistics in hand, which shows that about 10% of anorexic patients are men, I wonder if we have over looked an fundamental aspect of eating disorders for obvious grounds. Then, check out the Chyrsler Crossfire windscreen windblocker wind restrictor wind deflector windstop.

Gender bias, of course, plays a major role in here as in any other situation. If you are male and if you were to meet up with a doctor to discuss your new habits and potential male eating disorder symptoms, you are most likely to be advised to relax and take things easy rather than to be given a diagnosis as anorexic or bulimic. Then, check out the Chyrsler Crossfire windscreen windblocker wind restrictor wind deflector windstop.

In some cultures, the core values and beliefs won’t allow to think that there are males with eating disorders. In some cultures, male grooming habits are not considered key and worse, the cultural assumption will give the idea that if a male is concerned about his appearance, body image etc. he lacks male qualities. This is especially true when it comes to South East Asian cultures. Under these conditions, even if somebody suffering from male eating disorder will be reluctant to come forward and voice his opinions or meet up with a physician to get on a discreet medical plan. Then, check out the Chyrsler Crossfire windscreen windblocker wind restrictor wind deflector windstop.

Similar, certain jobs too put people at risk of male eating disorders. This is especially true of sportsmen such as horse riders, athletes; professional dancers and of course models.
For some men, losing weight may be a essential due to various reasons, but when it comes to putting it in to action, they will be unwilling to share their experiences with others. For e.g. if John is a professional dancer and if he wants to lose weight immediately, it is unlikely that he admits to his girlfriend that he needs to be on a diet. Therefore, without settling down for a systematic diet he will starve himself as he pleases until he loses weight. So the bottom line is, male eating disorders are on the rise and the male population is at higher danger!

A RN Decides to Start Exercising, Quit Drinking, Go on a Diet, and Stop Smoking

August 27th, 2009 Neil Warner No comments

For the past five years Natalie has been a licensed practical nurse at a city hospital. As a nurse practitioner, she clearly knew what to tell her patients about their health difficulties but in her private life, however, she clearly didn’t practice what she preached. For instance, she frequently drank quite extensively, she didn’t exercise, she smoked at least two packs of cigarettes per day, and she was nearly twenty-three pounds overweight.

Natalie Gets Into A Traffic Accident, Fails A Breathalyzer Test, and Goes to Jail

One evening on her way to work, Natalie got into a traffic accident. Since the accident was her fault and because her speech was slurred when she spoke, the arresting police officer administered a breath alcohol test known as a breathalyzer test. In concurrence with standard law enforcement policy, when an individual is involved in a traffic accident and does not pass an alcohol test, the individual has to spend at least two hours in the community jail.

Natalie is Disgraced About Her Vehicle Accident

Needless to say, Natalie felt disgraced about her traffic accident. In addition, Furthermore, she was feeling a lot of shame about the fact that she was at fault. And maybe worst of all, she was feeling a lot of shame about the fact that she was driving after she had a few drinks. As Natalie wondered about this event, then again, she thought that it could have been far worse because at her place of employment, when a blood test for alcohol is given and failed, the person has to go to obligatory alcohol therapy and is placed on non-pay status. This was basically one of the alcohol facts that was a reality at her place of employment and not much could change this fact.

Natalie’s Disgrace About Her Vehicle Accident Motivates Her To Reexamine Her Life and Make Some Relevant and Healthy Changes

In any event, Natalie’s shame about her vehicle accident made her reconsider her life and make some substantial and beneficial modifications. First, she was going to quit drinking in a hazardous and irresponsible manner. Second, she was going to stop smoking. Third, she was going to go on a strict weight-loss diet. And fourth, she was going to start exercising.

As disturbed as Natalie was about the entire traffic accident situation, she used this negative experience as a springboard for healthy change. In addition, she used her agonizing experience as a real source of discovery that she had been neglecting her own health while she openly told others how to live in a more healthy manner. At the end of the day, she eventually saw the fraudulence in her behavior and finally determined that she would live her life as a constructive source of motivation for the patients at the hospital.
